Counseling Services of New York is a non-intensive, OASAS 822 licensed outpatient chemical dependency / substance abuse treatment program. Counseling Services of New York was founded in 2005, and has since grown to provide a full array of counseling services to individuals who have chosen to succeed in addiction recovery. Working tirelessly in the heart of the South Bronx, the staff at Counseling Services of New York have made a long term commitment to the individuals it serves.
We work in conjunction with the NYC Administration for Children’s Services, NADAP, Human Resources Administration, Department of Corrections, NY State Department of Parole and Probation, Treatment Court, Criminal Court, Family Court, Alternative to Incarceration, NY State Department of Motor Vehicles, Methadone Maintenance Treatment Programs, New York Health and Hospitals, and Self Referrals.
Counseling Services of New York utilizes a multi-dimensional curriculum that puts the individual at the center of an active treatment paradigm. Services provided guide the individual toward total life success in the areas of chemical abstinence, career development, improving physical well-being, rebuilding family and social networks, and ultimately learning how to enjoy life in a new world free of harmful influences.
We are in the heart of the Bronx, near Yankee Stadium, which makes us very accessible by train or bus. Transportation reimbursement is provided for those who qualify.
